LEDS

LEDS are a great way to upgrade your CLASSIC PINBALL MACHINES.

They allow you to     personalize your arcade games.

You can experiment with different colour combinations, colour changers, levels of brightness, & flashers. For general illumination or those targeted areas, you can find what’s right for you.

Brighten up & save energy with long lasting ‘ASTILLED’ bulbs.

LED SUGGESTIONS

GENERAL ILLUMINATION (GI)

Use COOL or WARM WHITE.

ALWAYS use FROSTED DOME bulbs in GI lighting.

Less expensive bulbs can be used in GI (no-ghost bulbs are not necessary).

BACKGLASS:

I use 1 SMD FROSTED DOME.

(2 SMD FROSTED DOME cause too much glare).

PLAYFIELD:

I use 1 SMD FROSTED DOME

TOP of the PLAYFIELD:
Use 2 SMD FROSTED DOME

MULTI-LEVEL PLASTICS:

Use 2 SMD FROSTED DOME

PLAYFIELD ILLUMINATION

You can also colour match LANE GUIDES to make the playfields ‘pop’.

POP BUMPERS are lit up best with the BUMPER RING LEDs.

BALL TROUGHS are lit up best with STRIP LIGHTING LEDS.

UNDER PLAYFIELD ILLUMINATION

SMALL INSERTS:

I typically use less expensive bulbs without a dome (ND- no dome).

I use 1 SMD LEDS.

LARGE INSERTS:
To balance the brightness use FROSTED DOME LEDS.

I use 2 SMD LEDS.

I like to colour match the inserts.  For example, an orange LED under an orange ‘extra ball when lit’ insert ***looks fantastic***

FLEXI bulbs are used when a socket is mounted horizontally.

WARNING:

🚫🚫NEVER  use METAL TOOLS  under the playfield with the POWER ON🚫🚫

ALWAYS remove/replace bulbs with the POWER OFF.
