By adding these G.I. bulbs, you enhance the backglass art and give the overall general light to the playfield. 
 
Behind the backglass you can use the less ’ghosting’ bulbs because they stay ‘on’ at all times.
Using these 1 SMD bulbs here they don't add unnecessary glare to the playfield.
 
Non-polarized means they will work placed in the socket in either direction.
Older &  less expensive bulbs would have to be placed in the socket in one direction.
 
They are high quality 5050 SMD bulbs. Not the weaker 3528 used by many pinball led companies.
